Kodansha has revealed the results of its poll on the Young Magazine US website, which determines which five manga<\/a> titles (out of 16) will get to be serialized in Young Magazine (Japan) and on K Manga (US). Leading the pack is Still You<\/em> by Kami Nishio<\/strong>, which features two male students who once shared an unforgettable kiss.<\/span><\/p>\n

In second place is Rin Shimokawa<\/strong>\u2018s \u201chorror-theme<\/a>d\u201d Godmother<\/em>, with Kodansha saying that \u201cits acceptance in the U.S., despite being set in the Japanese city of Yokohama, is particularly noteworthy.\u201d The other three qualifying titles are Ray Kindo<\/strong>\u2018s The Knight of Blasphemy<\/em>, Daisuke Itabashi<\/strong>\u2018s The Journey of a Dark Elf with Fading Flowers<\/em>, and OUGA<\/strong>\u2018s Fasciation<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Voting took place from August 21 to November 10, with 281,461 votes recorded. Kodansha is so pleased with the response that they\u2019ve \u201curgently decided to select <\/span>four additional works for serialization\u201d and\u00a0\u201care already moving forward with preparations for the 2nd Yanmaga US project,\u201d according to a statement from Young Magazine US editor-in-chief Hidemi Shiraki<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
