Bitwise\u2019s new XRP exchange-traded fund is set to go live when markets open on Thursday under the ticker \u201cXRP.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bitwise Asset Management has confirmed that its new spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) tracking XRP is set to launch on Thursday, under the ticker \u201cXRP.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new fund will go live on the New York Stock Exchange, the asset manager announced<\/a>, which X users were quick to app<\/a>laud, and also pointed out the possible confusion it could cause with the token.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Typically, crypto ETFs feature a version of the asset manager\u2019s name and the underlying crypto asset in the ticker, such as Fidelity\u2019s FBTC and ARK Invest\u2019s ARKB, which track Bitcoin, or Bitwise\u2019s Solana ETF BSOL and BlackRock\u2019s Ether Trust ETHA tracking Solana (SOL<\/a>) and Ether (ETH<\/a>).<\/p>\n
