Written by Birkir Blaer Ingolfsson, Mladen Maticevic, Stephie Theodora, and Milena Dzambasovic, produced by H\u00f6r\u00f0ur R\u00fanarsson and Milena Dzambasovic, and co-produced by Danna Stern, production companies Film Road Production, ACT 4, and In Transit Productions, <em>Wool<\/em> is based on a true story and \u201cknits together fashion with female empowerment in a rural meets international setting, making it as relevant today as it was then,\u201d the jury said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMeanwhile, TV Beats market partner\u00a0TV Drama Vision\u00a0handed out the\u00a0Select Award\u00a0to Spanish project\u00a0<em>Dark Waters<\/em>, directed by V\u00edctor Garcia, written by Am\u00e8lia Mora and H\u00e9ctor Manteca, and produced by Juan Sol\u00e1, Mark Abela, Tono Folguera, and Maria Rocher. The project \u201cblends supernatural mystery, climate-change thriller and a tale intertwining the mythological worlds of Iceland and the Ebro Delta in Catalonia,\u201d the jury noted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMeanwhile, the\u00a0TV Beats Co-Production Market Public Favorite Award\u00a0honoree is <em>Nuclear Sunset Cruise<\/em>, written and directed by Florian Gallenberger, whose <em>Quiero ser<\/em> won the Academy Award for best live-action short film in 2001, and produced by Martin Lehwald and Philipp Goeser.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAlso this year, the Serial Bridges Baltic Best Project Award\u00a0was handed out to the Lithuanian project\u00a0<em>Therapies<\/em>, written and directed by Birute Kapustinskaite based on her own play, and produced by Dagne Vildziunaite. \u201cWhen a sharp-tongued professor checks into a remote hospital expecting peace and privacy during chemotherapy, she ends up in a six-bed cancer ward full of loud, impossible-to-ignore women, including her old college nemesis,\u201d reads a synopsis for the project. \u201cBeating cancer might be the goal, but first, they\u2019ll have to survive each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCheck out the Industry@Tallinn &amp; Baltic Event 2025 award winners and jury comments below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<strong>Discovery Campus<\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>Music Meets Film \u201cDirector-Composer Lab: Composing the Cut\u201d Workshop Award.
