Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong> thought she had found her person before her breakup with Chase Stokes<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n

This week, the pair ended their relationship for a second time. You may recall that they broke up in September, but got back together weeks later. Sources said earlier this month that they were \u201cgiving their relationship another try\u201d after they \u201cworked through some of their \u2018issues.\u2019\u201d However, Chase hinted they called it quits again on Thursday afternoon when he dropped two posts to Instagram<\/strong>, saying he is \u201cblocked\u201d and \u201cdid nothing wrong. The Outer Banks<\/em> star did not name names, but everyone knew the posts were about Kelsea because they unfollowed each other on IG.<\/p>\n

A source for Us Weekly<\/em> then confirmed the two split \u201cthis past week,\u201d saying their relationship became \u201cso rocky and toxic.\u201d Kelsea reportedly \u201chad a lot of trust issues\u201d with Chase, and \u201cjealousy definitely got in the way.\u201d Oof. Fans knew about her alleged jealousy issues, supposedly with his ex-girlfriend\/co-star Madelyn Cline<\/strong>. She wrote a whole song about it.<\/p>\n

Of course, a breakup is never easy. Chase, specifically, is devastated by the whole thing. A source told Us Weekly<\/em> on Friday:<\/p>\n

We heard she and Chase could give their romance another shot despite their latest breakups. Perhaps they need some time and space to work on their problems, and they\u2019ll find their way back to each other again. You never know. For now, however, it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n
