\n Stassi Schroeder has been quiet for a reason.<\/p>\n

The former \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d star, 32, told Tamron Hall on Thursday that since being fired from Bravo for her past racist behavior, she\u2019s taken time to reflect on everything that lead her to this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople expected me to just understand everything immedia<\/a>tely and things like that take time,\u201d she said on the \u201cTamron Hall Show.\u201d \u201cAnd I felt like it would be better for me to take the time to get a greater understanding of everything and the issues before I opened my mouth again. I\u2019m someone who messed up quite a few times. I am the reason why I am in this situation. I think a lot of people wanted me to focus on cancel culture and whether I was a victim or not but it\u2019s not how I feel at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued that having people label her as a racist \u201chas been the hardest part of all this. Just going out to a restaurant and going to the grocery store and wondering if that\u2019s what people think \u2026 I don\u2019t have hate in my heart. But I recognize that I wasn\u2019t anti-racist. That\u2019s something I\u2019ve been learning throughout all of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schroeder was fired from the network in June for calling the police on Faith Stowers, the only black \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d cast member, for a crime she did not commit. She also made racist remarks regarding the \u201cOscars So White\u201d campaign on her now-defunct \u201cStraight Up With Stassi\u201d podcast and captioned a photo of one of her outfits \u201cNazi chic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now working with a diversity coach, Schroeder was adamant that she was \u201cbeing a Karen\u201d with her ignorance and hopes that her daughter \u2014 who is due in January \u2014can learn from her mistakes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be a better person,\u201d she concluded after Hall pressed her about if she was making these changes solely because she needs an income. \u201cI\u2019m pregnant and I want my daughter to be proud of me and I want to be a part of the solution. I\u2019ve been a part of the problem for years now and I recognize that.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
