\n\tThe White House on Friday debuted a new section<\/a> on its website dedicated to what it\u2019s dubbing the \u201cMedia<\/a> Offender of the Week.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe page features the heading \u201cMisleading. Biased. Exposed.\u201d followed by a list of outlets and reporters who made the list. CBS News<\/a>, The Boston Globe <\/em>and The Independent<\/em> were the first news outlets cited on the new web page. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe site claimed that the news organizations were cited for reporting that \u201cmisrepresents and exaggerates President Trump\u2019s calls for Democrat accountability.\u201d Specifically, the White House is accusing the outlets for misrepresenting \u201cTrump\u2019s call for members of Congress to be held accountable for inciting sedition by saying that he called for their \u2018execution.’\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe coverage in question centered on a video in which Sen. Mark Kelly and five other members of Congress told troops they can disobey illegal orders and reminded them they had sworn to uphold the Constitution.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn response, Trump posted on Truth Social that was \u201cSEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.\u201d He added: \u201cEach one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL.\u201d He also posted that their comments were \u201cpunishable by DEATH!\u201d and declared: \u201cHANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new White House page claims that the truth is as follows: \u201cThe Democrats and Fake News Media subversively implied that President Trump had issued illegal orders to service members. Every order President Trump has issued has been lawful. It is dangerous for sitting Members of Congress to incite insubordination in the United States\u2019 military, and President Trump called for them to be held accountable.\u201d<\/p>\n
