The latest funding comes less than two months after Kalshi announced that it raised $300 million at a $5 billion valuation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the trading platform surged in popularity last year when people used it to predict the outcome of the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, a large portion of Kalshi\u2019s trades are actually tied to sports, according to The New York Times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kalshi is <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/12\/02\/business\/dealbook\/kalshi-prediction-market-billion.html\">reportedly<\/a> planning to announce a partnership with CNN.
