A new Code Geass animated series<\/a> with the title Code Geass: Hoshioi no Aspar<\/em> has been announced. Kazuya Nomura<\/strong> (Moriarty the Patriot<\/i>) is directing the show with series composition by novelist Mado Nozaki<\/strong> (Hello World<\/em> script<\/a>writer), character designs by illustrator Rorua<\/strong>, and Agarumata designs from modeller Yoshi<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A teaser visual with Nomura\u2019s layout, the two designers\u2019 creations, background and special effects work by Lin Junbun<\/strong>, and title logo design by Ichinogi was released with the announcement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The news<\/a> that there would more anime<\/a> in the Code Geass franchise, which traditionally features original character designs from manga collective CLAMP<\/strong>, was revealed last December.<\/span><\/p>\n

The multimedia<\/a> franchise began with the Code Geass<\/em>: Lelouch of the Rebellion\u00a0<\/em>anime, which ran from 2006 to 2008 with two seasons. Crunchyroll describes it as such:<\/span><\/p>\n

The year is 2017 of the Imperial calendar and parts of the world are under the control of the Holy Britannian Empire.
