What on earth is Bryan Kohberger<\/strong> trying to accomplish with this?<\/p>\n

According to what retired detective Chris McDonough<\/strong> recently told Fox News<\/a> Digital<\/em>, the convicted murderer isn\u2019t having a good time in prison \u2014 and he\u2019s trying to make friends with other killers. The detective explained that an insider told him Bryan \u201csees himself above everyone around him\u201d at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution<\/strong>, so he\u2019s reaching out to other high-profile criminals \u201cboth inside and outside\u201d of where he\u2019s staying in the J Block:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s tried reaching out to other serial killers, but I don\u2019t know whether any relationships have formed. Both inside and outside \u2014 he\u2019s trying to communicate with people outside the walls.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But what could this mean? Well, it\u2019s possible he\u2019s trying to get other connections because he wants out of the unit where he\u2019s currently being held:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s desperately trying to get transferred out of J-Block because of relentless taunting from other inmates. Recently, his big complaint has been food, especially the bananas, because he\u2019s a vegan. He didn\u2019t like the type or quality of the food being prepared. It wouldn\u2019t be surprising if the inmates intentionally give him the worst bananas \u2014 \u2018Give this one to Kohberger\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And while J-Block keeps him isolated 23 hours per day (which reduces the risk of other inmates attacking him) \u2014 he\u2019s ready to go somewhere else and put his safety at risk. In fact, he\u2019s reportedly making some harsh threats to try and get his way:<\/p>\n

\u201cHis latest issue is that he\u2019s implied that if they don\u2019t move him out of J-Block \u2014 complaining his cell is too small and so on \u2014 he\u2019ll harm himself. No one knows what that means. It could be a manipulation tactic, almost like a toddler having a tantrum, to get himself into a better unit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
