Wide crypto-tracking funds will become more popular as investors will seek exposure as the market becomes more complex, says Bitwise\u2019s Matt Hougan.<\/p>\n

Funds that track a basket of cryptocurrencies are likely to rocket in popularity next year as investors look to get easy exposure to a broader range of digital assets, according to Bitwise\u2019s investment chief Matt Hougan.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrypto index funds are going to be a big deal in 2026,\u201d Hougan said<\/a> in a note on Monday. \u201cThe market is getting more complex and the use cases are multiplying.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that while the overall crypto market is poised to grow, it isn\u2019t possible to predict which tokens will perform, so owning a fund that tracks the market is a \u201cgreat place to start,\u201d although it\u2019s \u201cnot right for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
