Harzman gives away the trick up front: &#8220;Sweet song is a long con,&#8221; she sings at the open. Jett Witchalls\u2019 vocals are lush yet forceful, the textures pokey and amusing. &#8220;The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> is a nightmare \/ This can&#8217;t be real,&#8221; he sings, both droll and threatening. \u2014<i>LM<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-276179\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<h5 class=\"headline\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"23_Cardi_B_%E2%80%9CPretty_Petty%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>\n        23. The trick is in the track\u2019s ingenious beat switch, which speeds up right at the halfway mark. His flow is possessed, spiraling through a manic phase over fuzzed out 808s. He\u2019s arguing with girlfriend K3 again; his mom just kicked him out the house; he oscillates between having his haters knocked off and his own plans to \u201cgo 27 club, kill myself, Cobain.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Despite his professed love for codeine and ecstasy, \u201cDIOR LEOPARD\u201d is unglamorous in its raw emotion, queasily fallible, on the verge of crashing out. Near the song\u2019s close, Che exhales, \u201cYou mad at me when you the one that fucked up.\u201d This line, really a mantra the way Che chants it, becomes a clarifying lens for all of the mayhem before and after. Even at his most wounded, Che wants people to hear his music \u201cand feel safe, like there\u2019s no struggles at all,\u201d he told The FADER this year.
