In 2018, Anime Feminist<\/b><\/span><\/a>—a website that features anime commentary, discussions, reviews, and more through a feminist lens—ran a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to pay for transcriptions of the Chatty AF <\/i>podcasts hosted by the site's staff and guests. Now, the team is seeking to raise funds again through Patreon<\/span><\/a> and Ko-fi<\/span><\/a> to continue paying for podcast transcriptions, and readers and the rest of the community can do their part to help. <\/p>\n

The first campaign included one-time funds for the transcription of the first 75 episodes of Chatty AF<\/i>. With the new crowdfunding effort, Anime Feminist <\/i>hopes to raise money to transcript the remaining 50 podcasts and all future episodes. <\/p>\n

The 75-episode backlog will cost a total of $4,000 and is planned to be funded primarily through one-time contributions on Ko-fi. The site’s staff, meanwhile, hopes to pay the $220 it would cost to continue transcribing new episodes through monthly income from Patreon. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Anime Feminist<\/i> is seeking to add 50 additional $5-level Patreon supporters by October 11, its fourth anniversary, when the site plans to release its 126th podcast episode.<\/p>\n
