The titular character is a former child soldier with mechanical hands who becomes a ghost writer called an Auto Memories Doll, with the setting resembling early 20th century Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">An anime series was released on Netflix in 2018.
