\n\tAfter a decade-long gap between solo records, Bruno Mars is back with a new full-length album, titled\u00a0The Romantic,<\/em>\u00a0set for release on Feb. 27, and its lead single is scheduled for release on Friday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news<\/a> of the multi-platinum, multiple Grammy-winning pop superstar\u2019s latest release was announced on his Instagram account on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNew music this Friday \ud83e\udec2The Romantic coming 2.27 \ud83c\udf39\u2665\ufe0f, \u201c the singer wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile a Valentine\u2019s Day release may seem more fitting for an album with such a title, Mars has only just now completed recording on his new LP, a follow-up to 2016\u2019s 24K Magic. On Monday, the singer, who was born Peter Gene Hernandez, posted on X.com<\/a> to his followers about the forthcoming work.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy album is done,\u201d the singer wrote on the social media<\/a> platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to a recent report in Hits, Mars worked with his longtime collaborator Philip Lawrence on The Romantic, and there are no featured artists on the album.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile a solo Bruno Mars album has been a long time coming, the Hawaii-born pop icon hasn\u2019t shied away from the limelight, filling the years with notable and award-winning collaborations.\u00a0His Silk Sonic project with Anderson. Paak produced the band\u2019s 2021 album, which featured smash hits\u00a0\u201cLeave the Door Open\u201d and \u201cSmokin Out the Window,\u201d paving the way for multiple Grammy wins for the artists. And in 2025, Mars\u2019 duet with Lady Gaga<\/a>, \u201cDie with a Smile,\u201d topped the Billboard Hot 100; the song went on to win the Grammy for Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance that year<\/p>\n

\n\tMars has been a pop juggernaut since he hit the scene, selling over 150 million records globally, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. He has nine Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles, 16 Grammy Awards and established a popular residency at Las Vegas\u2019 Dolby Park at MGM Live. His most recent \u201c24K Magic World Tour,\u201d which took place from 2017\u20132018, is one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
