Atlanta rap collective \u00d8Way kicked off 2026 last week with an eight-and-a-half minute cypher. The crew\u2019s profile hit new highs in the fall following the success of \u201cBada Bing Bada B\u00f8\u00f8m,\u201d the breakout single of ringleader Tezzus and right-hand man diamond*. As the song blew up, footage of the pair performing at a nightclub made its way to Young Thug, who signed them to YSL.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Like Thug\u2019s other 2025 signings (1300SAINT and the controversial rage-baiter\/alleged groomer Nine Vicious), these guys sound like they grew up listening to <i>So Much Fun<\/i> and <i>Whole Lotta Red<\/i>. But their best songs push past simple clone allegations thanks to sharp beat selection and elastic flows \u2014 and their 2026 cypher is a great example. And while Tezzus and diamond* make a great introduction to the group, some of their friends are even better r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ers.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-276689\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<h5 class=\"headline\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_OWay\"><\/span>\n        What is \u00d8Way?<br \/>\n      <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            \u00d8Way is technically the second incarnation of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/foreverthumbin\/?hl=en\">4ET<\/a> (as in, \u201cforever thumbin\u201d through paper), an Atlanta rap crew that included Southsidesilhouette, Diorvsyou, and Rollin Thrax (Hardrock was part of 4ET back in the day). Tezzus and diamond* were already close to Southsidesilhouette and Diorvsyou so they sound plenty natural on songs together. Sk8star and Florida\u2019s Percaso, two rappers who aren\u2019t featured on the cypher, are also closely affiliated to the group.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            I can\u2019t pin down exactly how they all connected, but a broad swath of \u00d8Way has close ties with Ian Connor, a fashion designer associated with Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Drake, and A$AP Rocky, and who has been accused by several women of sexual assault. It\u2019s unclear how involved Connor is with \u00d8Way, but the group\u2019s rise has coincided with a minor resurgence in his relevance. In February 2025, Connor even teased a compilation album that was set to feature diamond*, Rollin Thrax, and Diorvsyou, alongside Young Thug, Dean Blunt, and Nettspend, though it was never released.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Perhaps it\u2019s darkly ironic that \u201c\u00d8Way\u201d means \u201cagainst oppression,\u201d per Tezzus, though he adds it\u2019s more about artistic freedom than anything overtly political. The first section is an in-your-face rage rap banger produced by Kassgocrazy; the second section, produced by ivvys, project4play, and Devfried, leans more dark ambient. The track\u2019s final movement, produced by DP Beats, Venexxi, and Casio5k, feels more like a mainstream Atlanta trap beat, but stuffed with so much percussion you would never mistake it for a song by Future or Thug. Taken as a whole, it\u2019s a snapshot of the sonic trends dominating the SoundCloud underground.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Below, every verse on \u201c\u00d8Way Cypher,\u201d ranked.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-276815\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            <b>12. 10kdunkin<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cI&#8217;m talkin&#8217; to the ho like Creflo Dollar \/ She look like a model, got a thousand followers\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            No disrespect but seeing 10kdunkin in this video made me feel 1000 years old. Props to \u00d8Way for not indulging in ageism! This isn\u2019t a terrible verse, but 10kdunkin\u2019s boilerplate topics combined with a cringe NDA line make for an anticlimactic outro.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>11. Lil Righteous<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cI tell her do it, she gon&#8217; do it \/ bitch, Alexa\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Impassioned delivery can\u2019t save this Lil Righteous verse from going in one ear and right out the other. His lyrics feel bland and nonspecific, recycling tropes without a personal touch.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>10. ShawtyRokk<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cRock the show in Dior Homme \/ I fucked my dream bitch, then kicked out my home\u201d<br \/><\/i><br \/>ShawtyRokk\u2019s two verses on this song focus more on his snarling delivery than lyrical content, though his repeated love for Hedi jeans is mildly endearing. He sounds better on the song\u2019s third movement, where his flow feels more attached to the bounce of the beat.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-276816\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            <b>9. diamond*<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cMy dog said, \u2018Fuck the judge,\u2019 he tryna take that shit to trial\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            diamond*\u2019s verse here is super laid back, almost unremarkable. My theory is that Tezzus told him to chill out after diamond*\u2019s hook overshadowed T\u2019s verse on \u201cbada b\u00d8\u00d8m bada bing.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>8. Southsidesilhouette<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cI&#8217;m in the trench right now with a tote bag \/ yeah, it&#8217;s holdin&#8217; a blick\u201d<br \/><\/i><br \/>Southsidesilhouette coolly rifles through an #OOTD check, saying he\u2019s wearing a plain gold watch because he \u201cfucked up my two-tone presi\u2019\u201d and popping the collar on his leather jacket. It\u2019s a solid verse, but nothing to write home about either.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>7. Reezy X<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cN***as life suck and they all in denial \/ I bet all my old hoes proud of me now\u201d<br \/><\/i><br \/>It\u2019s entirely possible Reezy X is getting hazed by \u00d8Way right now: why else would they put so many drums over his bars? That being said, his energetic flow works surprisingly well amidst the cacophony.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>6. Lilkixkdor<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cI used to have to take cold baths \/ Now, I&#8217;m lit, I take sponge bath\u201d<br \/><\/i><br \/>\u201cWhole family died, aftermath \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trip<\/a>pin&#8217; off these drugs, Kodak,\u201d is incredibly bleak no matter how you couch it. It suggests an artistic persona molded by trauma no matter how glitzy things are getting, and that\u2019s reflected in his bluntly violent lyrics about knocking off hats and blasting at 12.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-276817\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            <b>5. billi0n<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cI\u2019m in the corner having late, night \/ talks with my kiiidney\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            It\u2019s not <i>what<\/i> billi0n is saying, but how he says it \u2014 his voice is like a cross between Nino Paid and the Tasmanian Devil from <i>Looney Tunes<\/i>. His yelped delivery pushes \u201c\u00d8Way Cypher\u201d into high gear from the very first verse.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>4. EA TJ<\/b><br \/><i>Best Bar: \u201cSmash the Benz&#8217;, had to switch the tag, got bitches stalkin&#8217; me \/ Big dog, n***a, I got steppers all the way in Albany\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            EA TJ only raps four bars on this song but the way he says \u201cAl-ba-ny\u201d has been rattling around my head for a full week. It\u2019s a testament to the quality of his micro verse, which feels exciting and not just tacked on.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>3. Yung Fazo<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cI knew would do it \/ I knew I would get to the top, I been touchin&#8217; the stars, gon&#8217; be the influence\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Yung Fazo is \u00d8Way\u2019s other intergenerational recruit, probably better known for his pre-pandemic successes than anything he\u2019s released since. He seems acutely aware of his profile, turning in a fluid melodic verse that switches his flow up beautifully halfway through. In interviews, Tezzus has called Fazo \u201ccooler than NAV,\u201d which, depending on your tastes, is maybe a low bar to clear. But it\u2019s entirely possible 2026 could be his biggest year yet.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>2. Tezzus<\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cN***as gettin&#8217; robbed on eBay, in my last life, I caught bodies, bitch \/ Me and this ho had a e-date, it was just a glass of wine and narcotics, bitch\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Tezzus\u2019s first verse on this song is kind of bad. The hyperaggressive beat pushes him into an aggressive flow, but it\u2019s all bark no bite, despite him claiming he\u2019ll \u201chave a Blood kill a Blood, a Crip kill Crip.\u201d He redeems himself on the song\u2019s third movement, where a more melodic approach emphasizes Thug\u2019s influence, and Tezzus\u2019s typically brash vocals melt into Auto-Tune currents.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>1. Pz\u2019 <\/b><br \/><i>Best bar: \u201cLil&#8217; baby, I&#8217;m goin&#8217; ballistic, the fabrics on me is Celine \/ I wine and dine with Spanish fine lil&#8217; shawty, she work for Celine\u201d<\/i>\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Of the extended \u00d8Way roster, Pz\u2019 seems most likely to break out next (a cosign by Playboi Carti\u2019s YVL camp can\u2019t hurt). His flow is delicate even as it feels intricate. \u201cHermes bag cost a wallet, and that bitch might cost a chain \/  We might bust you in your brain, Man, Lil Pz&#8217;, you goin&#8217; insane,\u201d he coos midway through.
