An April 2 broadcast start date was also announced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Additionally, it was revealed that Netflix will be streaming the show weekly.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Ramparts of Ice | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a7ah5by0Ffw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>The Ramparts of Ice\u00a0<\/em>(<em>Kori no Joheki<\/em>) is based on the manga by\u00a0<strong>Kocha Agasawa<\/strong>, which was serialized from January 2020 to April 2022 via LINE Manga. The story follows Koyuki Hikawa, a girl who doesn\u2019t do well with human interactions and is walled off from others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The manga received a special award at the 2nd Shueisha Shojo Manga Grand Prix (which has LINE\u2019s involvement) and placed first in Comic Natalie\u2019s Tateyomi Manga Award 2024 in the Completed category.
