They followed a group of girls who are undergoing theater training, with surrealistic imagery and swordfights mixed in. The anime belong to a multi<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> franchise that includes <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s like the <em>Revue Starlight El Dorado <\/em>visual novel and the <em>Shojo Kageki <\/em><em>Revue Starlight -Re LIVE- <\/em>mobile game and musicals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Bushiroad<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0Nelke Planning<\/strong>, and Kinema Citrus are credited with the franchise\u2019s creation. <strong>Hiroyuki Saita<\/strong> (Cardfight!! Vanguard D Series\u00a0co-character designer) was the character designer for the previous anime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The synopsis for the 2018 Revue Starlight anime reads:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Childhood friends Karen and Hikari promised that they would one day become the next theatrical stars.
