Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> as a beta which allows Gemini to give you a more personalized response by connecting across your Google ecosystem, including Google Search, Gmail, Photos, and your <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> history.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Google <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/innovation-and-ai\/products\/gemini-app\/personal-intelligence\/\">said<\/a> this is \u201cLaunching as a beta in the U.S., this marks our next step toward making Gemini more personal, proactive and powerful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This will also be coming to Search in AI Mode soon, Google told us.<\/p>\n<p>While Gemini could already\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products-and-platforms\/products\/gemini\/google-bard-new-features-update-sept-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">retrieve information<\/a>\u00a0from these apps, with Gemini 3, it can now reason across your data to surface proactive insights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here is how it looks. <\/strong> Here is a video of how it works:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/searchengineland.com\/wp-content\/seloads\/2026\/01\/Personal-Intelligence_Shopping-use-case.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Availability. <\/strong>This feature is rolling out today to some Google users:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rolling out over the course of the day\u201414th January\u2014to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. It should reach all eligible users within the week.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Once enabled, it works across Web, Android and iOS and with all of the models in the Gemini model picker.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Google will soon expand to more countries and the free tier.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>It\u2019s also coming to Search in AI Mode soon.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This is right now only available for personal Google accounts and not for Workspace business, enterprise or education users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Privacy, control<\/strong> <strong>and personalization<\/strong>. Here are some of the privacy controls and personalization settings:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This experience is\u00a0off by default, so you can decide if and when to connect apps to Gemini.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Even when your apps are connected, Google won\u2019t personalise every response. <\/li>\n<li>You can also connect some apps without connecting others<\/li>\n<li>To keep making your conversations helpful, Gemini will continue personalising your experience by referencing your past chats by default. You can stop this by turning off the setting called your \u201cPast Gemini chats.\u201d You can also manage and delete your past chats anytime.<\/li>\n<li>You can decide not to personalise certain responses via the try again button<\/li>\n<li>Give feedback about personalisation via thumbs down button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why we care. <\/strong>This is coming to AI Mode in Google Search, and this may play a role in your track visibility in these tools<strong>.<\/strong> If much of the experience is super personalized, then tracking AI results will be really challenging. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
