{"id":709209,"date":"2026-01-25T03:41:27","date_gmt":"2026-01-25T00:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/gmail-is-having-issues-with-spam-and-misclassification\/"},"modified":"2026-01-25T03:41:27","modified_gmt":"2026-01-25T00:41:27","slug":"gmail-is-having-issues-with-spam-and-misclassification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/gmail-is-having-issues-with-spam-and-misclassification\/","title":{"rendered":"Gmail is having issues with spam and misclassification"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your Gmail account doesn\u2019t seem to be working properly today, you\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/appsstatus\/dashboard\/incidents\/NNnDkY9CJ36annsfytjQ\">official status dashboard<\/a> for Google Workspace suggests that the issues began at around 5am Pacific on Saturday morning, with users experiencing both \u201cmisclassification of emails in their inbox and additional spam warnings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, that meant my Primary inbox was filled with messages that would normally <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear in the Promotions, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social<\/a>, or Updates inboxes, and that spam warnings were appearing in emails from known senders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other users have complained on social media that <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mikeisaac\/status\/2015123982396334510?s=46&amp;t=sVvVqfqtrpFRLF39Bfwg9w\">\u201call the spam is going directly to my inbox\u201d<\/a> and that Gmail\u2019s filters seem <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/tomscocca.bsky.social\/post\/3md6jp6e5ic2n\">\u201csuddenly completely busted.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are actively working to resolve the issue,\u201d Google said. \u201cAs always, we encourage users to follow standard best practices when engaging with messages from unknown senders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TechCrunch has reached out to Google for additional comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
