\n\tThe Trump administration is definitely not a fan of Bruce Springsteen\u2019s new anti-ICE protest song.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe legendary singer released the track on Wednesday about what he called the \u201cstate terror\u201d that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has committed in Minneapolis, including the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis,\u201d Springsteen said of the song, titled \u201cStreets of Minneapolis.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Ren\u00e9e Good. Stay free.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn response, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson shared in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>, \u201cThe Trump administration is focused on encouraging state and local Democrats to work with federal law enforcement officers on removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens from their communities \u2014 not random songs with irrelevant opinions and inaccurate information. The media<\/a> should cover how Democrats have refused to work with the administration, and instead, opted to provide sanctuary for these criminal illegals.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpringsteen has a history of beefing with President Donald Trump and his controversial policies, with the two taking several jabs at each other last year. After the singer opened the European leg of his 2025 tour with a critical message aimed at Trump, the president then clapp<\/a>ed back, calling him \u201cdumb as a rock\u201d and a \u201cdried out \u2018prune\u2019 of a rocker.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Springsteen has stood by his outspoken opinion about the president and has no plans of slowing down, especially with the release of \u201cStreets of Minneapolis.\u201d He told Time <\/em>magazine last year that he \u201ccouldn\u2019t care less\u201d about Trump.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
