A teaser visual for the upcoming Killed Again, Mr. Detective?<\/em> TV anime<\/a> has been released, depicting the titular detective slumped over the lap of his assistant.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are also new cast announcements, which reveal the castings of Katsuyuki Konishi<\/strong>, Yoshino Aoyama<\/strong>, Rie Kugimiya<\/strong>, and Yuki Takada<\/strong>. Takada has a dual role.<\/span><\/p>\n

Killed Again, Mr. Detective?<\/em>\u2018s (Mata Korosareteshimatta no desune, Tantei-sama<\/em>) is set to premiere in April. It is an adaptation of the light novel series<\/a> written by\u00a0Teniwoha<\/strong>\u00a0and illustrated by\u00a0Riichu<\/strong>.\u00a0There is a\u00a0manga as well, which Yen Press describes as such:<\/span><\/p>\n

Sakuya Outsuki is the son of a legendary detective, striving to follow in his father\u2019s footsteps with the help of his assistant, Lilithea. This isn\u2019t your average high-school sleuth, though-because he comes back to life every time he\u2019s killed! Being a little too familiar with death and always awakening to Lilithea by his side, Sakuya\u2019s happ<\/a>y to take on low-risk cases. Surely investigating a movie producer\u2019s affair on a luxury cruise ship won\u2019t pose any real threat! But when the duo ends up entangled in a larger and bloodier situation, Sakuya will have to get to the bottom of the mystery\u2026and die trying!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The light novel series started in August 2021 and has six volumes as of November 2025. It is published under KADOKAWA\u2019s MF Bunko J label.<\/span><\/p>\n
