It arrives with a video where EsDeeKid totes a variety of guns and swords I presume are illegal in the U.K. around a shadowy mansion and also rides a horse. As you might expect, he&#8217;s wearing his usual balaclava.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            The Cppo, Toom, and Wasa produced song hits hard, with huge 808s, piercing sirens, and cracking snares. If you&#8217;re feeling d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu, you aren&#8217;t the only one: commenters on Instagram and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> alike have been quick to point out the song&#8217;s similarity to &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_JZqoGz0b6o\">New Choppa<\/a>&#8221; by Playboi Carti and A$AP Rocky. The beat and EsDeeKid&#8217;s chanted flow are both so similar to the source material you have to wonder if he&#8217;s gunning for a Rocky remix down the line.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            EsDeeKid&#8217;s bars lean heavily on long O&#8217;s, which lends &#8220;Omens&#8221; a sort of bellowed musicality when combined with his Liverpool accent. And there&#8217;s a tongue-in-cheek edge to lines like, &#8220;We&#8217;re takin&#8217; it all, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roman_Britain\">we&#8217;re the Romans<\/a>,&#8221; or, &#8220;This is the <i>Rebel<\/i> economy.&#8221;\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            The song also speaks to EsDeeKid&#8217;s escalating ambitions following a banner 2025 for U.K. rap in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> and EsDee in particular: <i>Rebel<\/i> was one of the year&#8217;s biggest albums, and a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=57C13H0BnnU\">Chalamet remix of &#8220;4Raws&#8221;<\/a> buoyed his reach to new heights. &#8220;4Raws&#8221; was also remixed by the Chainsmokers, which EsDeeKid <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/djmag.com\/news\/esdeekid-slams-chainsmokers-unauthorized-remix-of-4-raws\/\">did not appreciate<\/a>.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            &#8220;Omens&#8221; follows his Halloween single &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=StwmlDe6vE4\">Century<\/a>,&#8221; which was produced by Cppo and Panafriqana. EsDeeKid is currently touring the U.S., with two shows in NYC this weekend and two shows in LA next week.
