There is some major tension in the royal family right now \u2014 and it has nothing to do with Prince Harry<\/strong> for once!<\/p>\n

This week, sources revealed to Rob Shuter<\/strong>\u2018s Naughty But Nice<\/em> news<\/a>letter on Substack<\/strong> that all is not well between King Charles<\/strong> and Prince William<\/strong>! In fact, they are reportedly not talking right now! Whoa! Insiders claimed tensions are \u201cworse than they\u2019ve been in years.\u201d And although sources know the father and son will make up, they made it clear that things are really, really bad at the moment! One palace insider told Shuter:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very bad at the moment. There\u2019s real anger on both sides.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is unknown what Charles and William are fighting about. However, there have been whispers of issues between the two for a few weeks. Sources told Us Weekly<\/em> in December that the pair are butting heads over the Prince of Wales\u2019 future on the throne and the changes he plans to make to the monarchy. William also hasn\u2019t been too happ<\/a>y about Charles trying to reconcile with Harry. Princess Catherine\u2019s hubby reportedly feels \u201cless inclined\u201d to forgive and \u201cbring Harry back into the royal fold.\u201d We can\u2019t say we\u2019re surprised about that\u2026<\/p>\n

William and Charles are dealing with some very complicated matters, and they apparently are unable to work it out peacefully at this time! The 43-year-old royal is keeping his distance from his father, and he made that clear by skipping the king\u2019s Windsor Castle film premiere. A source pointed out:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat wasn\u2019t a scheduling issue. That was a statement.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Everyone got the message loud and clear! Oof!<\/p>\n

It is hard to believe, but a courtier even claimed that Charles had more trouble with William than he ever did with Harry! Shocking, we know! The courtier explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry is emotional, reactive, and predictable. William is controlled, strategic \u2014 and stubborn. That\u2019s much harder.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Sources say Harry is easier to manage because he is no longer around, while William is the future of the monarchy, which makes things so difficult:<\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam will be king. And he knows it. That changes the power dynamic completely.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Because of that, those close to Charles shared that the monarch feels undermined and iced out a lot of the time. William, on the other hand, reportedly thinks he is simply protecting his authority and legacy. What doesn\u2019t help is that both men are stubborn, so they won\u2019t \u201cback down.\u201d Insiders continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey clash because they\u2019re too similar. Both believe they\u2019re right. Neither backs down easily.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yikes!\u00a0That said, Shuter\u2019s sources insisted William and Charles will reconcile eventually. Just don\u2019t expect it to happen at this moment.<\/p>\n
