\n\tNicolas Cage is Spider-Man \u2014 sort of \u2014 in Prime Video\u2018s new series<\/a> Spider-Noir<\/em>. <\/p>\n

\n\tBelow is the show\u2019s first teaser trailer, which presents the Marvel Comics Spider-Verse character in live action for the first time. <\/p>\n

\n\tMarking the Oscar winner\u2019s first leading TV series role, Cage plays Ben Reilly, an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapp<\/a>le with his past life as the city\u2019s one and only superhero.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe trailer shows Cage as a world-weary gumshoe and a black-clad web-slinger and features the tagline: \u201cWith No Power Comes No Responsibility.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tPrime Video also announced a premiere date, May 27, and says the episodes will be dropped as a binge release. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe company also has a unique presentation for the project: Spider-Noir<\/em> will be available to stream in two different ways, in \u201cAuthentic Black & White\u201d and \u201cTrue-Hue Full Color\u201d (the original comics were rather muted and monochromatic, but in color).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe full cast includes Lamorne Morris (Farg<\/em>o), Li Jun Li (Sinners<\/em>), Karen Rodriguez (The Hunting Wives<\/em>), Abraham Popoola (Slow Horses<\/em>), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire<\/em>) and Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin<\/em>).<\/p>\n
