Three additional cast members have been announced for the upcoming <\/span>LIAR GAME<\/a><\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a>. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2026 and was first <\/span>announced in August 2025<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The three newest cast members include <\/span>Kazuhiro Nakaya<\/b> as Leronira, <\/span>Nobuo Tobita<\/b> as Kazuo Fujisawa, and <\/span>Yoji Ueda<\/b> as Mitsuo Tanimura.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yuzo Sato<\/b> (<\/span>The Gene of AI <\/span><\/i>director) is serving as chief director for the anime series, with<\/span> Asami Kawano<\/b> (<\/span>The Vampire Dies In No Time <\/span><\/i>assistant director) as director, <\/span>Tatsuhiko Urahata <\/b>(<\/span>Baki Hanma<\/span><\/i>) as series composer and screenwriter, <\/span>Kei Tsuchiya<\/b> (<\/span>Trillion Game<\/span><\/i>) as character designer, and <\/span>Kisuke Koizumi<\/b> (<\/span>Trillion Game, My Happ<\/a>y Marriage<\/span><\/i>) as sound director. <\/span>Madhouse<\/b> is in charge of the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The suspense manga series by <\/span>Shinobu Kaitani<\/b> was serialized in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Young Jump magazine from February 17, 2005 to January 22, 2015 and released a total of 19 tankobon volumes.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The manga also inspired a Japanese live-action TV drama, a Korean live-action TV drama, a live-action film, and a stage play.<\/span><\/p>\n
