Ghislaine Maxwell were revealed in the Epstein files, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/business\/casey-wasserman-putting-his-talent-agency-up-for-sale-after-epstein-fallout-7eed1433\">the <i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> reports<\/a>. Wasserman owns <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roximately 40% of the private company, while Providence Equity Partners holds roughly 60%. Unsurprisingly, the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/industry-news\/business\/wasserman-agency-renamed-after-casey-sale\/\">Wasserman Agency will be renamed<\/a>.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-277769\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            Company president Mike Watts will be stepping in as interim CEO. In a Friday evening memo to agency employees, Wasserman apologized for causing his employees &#8220;discomfort,&#8221; saying he had &#8220;limited interactions&#8221; with Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein &#8220;years before their criminal conduct came to light.&#8221; Wasserman and Maxwell exchanged flirtatious emails in spring 2003, a year after Wasserman flew on Epstein&#8217;s plane as part of a humanitarian <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> with the Clinton Foundation.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-277771\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            Wasserman&#8217;s 11th-hour memo comes as Wasserman Agency faced down an exodus of clients, sparked by an Instagram statement by Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast. The furor around the agency head&#8217;s personal ties to Maxwell was catalyzed by Chappell Roan announcing she would be leaving the agency, as did Weyes Blood, Wednesday, Orville Peck, and more. With Wasserman&#8217;s departure, it is possible some artists will remain with the renamed agency. <i>Deadline<\/i> reported that Phish <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/02\/casey-wasserman-selling-agency-epstein-scandal-la28-1236724692\/\">had been seeking new representation<\/a> in the lead-up to Wasserman&#8217;s sale.\n          <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content_block paragraph triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-277770\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            Last week, the board of the LA28 Olympics organizing committee <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/crl4nkg11zjo\">voted Wednesday to keep Wasserman as chairman of the committee<\/a>, saying in part that their outside counsel, &#8220;found Mr. Wasserman&#8217;s relationship with Epstein and Maxwell did not go beyond what has already been publicly documented.&#8221;\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            On Thursday, Wasserman <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/13\/hollywood\/under-fire-casey-wasserman-hosts-nba-all-star-reception-in-la-as-he-looks-to-recover-after-epstein-files\/\">hosted a reception at NBA All-Star Weekend<\/a>. <i>Page Six<\/i> reports NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, and ESPN Chairman James Pitaro were among those in attendance.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <i>Los Angeles Times<\/i> reports that the board of directors for LA 28 saw the emails as &#8220;dated and less serious,&#8221; <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/newsletter\/2026-02-12\/why-la28-didnt-dump-olympics-chair-casey-wasserman\">based on interviews with several insiders<\/a>.
