Square Enix has released the recently announced new version of the original Final Fantasy VII<\/em> for PC via Steam<\/a> and GOG<\/a> for $11.99. <\/p>\n

Users who already own Final Fantasy VII<\/em> for Steam will receive the new version for free, and the old version will remain accessible to existing owners under the name Final Fantasy VII \u2013 2013 Edition<\/em><\/a>. However, the 2013 Edition<\/em> is no longer available to purchase, and save data is not compatible between the two versions.<\/p>\n
