The third and final cour of Dr. Stone: Science<\/a> Future<\/em> will begin airing on April 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

The TV anime<\/a>\u2019s first cour premiered in January 2025, with the second cour following in July. The show is the fourth and final season of the Dr. Stone\u00a0<\/em>anime, which adapts the\u00a0Shueisha-published manga written by\u00a0Riichiro Inagaki<\/strong>\u00a0and drawn by\u00a0Boichi<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. His science-loving friend Senku\u2019s been up and running for a few months and he\u2019s got a grand plan in mind\u2014to kickstart civilization with the power of science!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The manga ran from 2017 to 2022 in Weekly Shonen Jump. It inspired a side story titled Dr. Stone Reboot: Byakuya<\/em> during its serialization and\u00a0was followed by a limited series<\/a> titled Dr. Stone: 4D Science<\/em>. The first season of the\u00a0<\/em>anime started airing in 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
