\n\tThe Bear<\/em> is getting ready to serve its final meals.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe FX-produced series<\/a>, which streams on Hulu, is coming to an end with its upcoming fifth season. The Emmy-winning show is currently filming in and around Chicago and is slated to debut later this year; past seasons have all premiered as binge releases in late June.<\/p>\n

\n\tJamie Lee Curtis, who has won an Emmy for her recurring role as Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and Natalie\u2019s (Abby Elliott) mother, said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em> Tuesday that the show was coming to a close: \u201cIt is the end of the show,\u201d she said in response to speculation about a Feb. 17 Instagram post<\/a> in which she referenced \u201ccompleting the story\u201d of The Bear<\/em>. \u201cEverybody knows it\u2019s the end of the show. I\u2019m not breaking any news<\/a> to anybody. It\u2019s the end of the show \u2014 they\u2019ve said it from the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFX declined comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tSigns have long pointed to a finite run for The Bear<\/em>. White has said in previous interviews that series creator Christopher Storer originally had a four-season story arc in mind for the show. Season four\u2019s finale was titled \u201cGoodbye\u201d and saw Carmy decide to leave both his restaurant and the culinary business altogether. And, not for nothing, a show that has interwoven grief and trauma so closely with its workplace storylines can\u2019t keep airing out those traumas forever.<\/p>\n

\n\tFX ordered a fifth season of The Bear<\/em> in July 2025, about a week after season four premiered.<\/p>\n

\n\tThrough its first three seasons, The Bear<\/em> has won 21 Emmy Awards, including a best comedy series award in 2023 \u2014\u00a0one of 10 Emmys it took home that year \u2014\u00a0and acting honors for White, Curtis, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal. Season four will be eligible for the 2026 Emmys in September.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show\u2019s cast also includes Liza Colon Zayas, Lionel Boyce, Matty Matheson, Edwin Lee Gibson and Corey Hendrix. Storer executive produces with Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai and Rene Gube. Courtney Storer is co-EP and culinary producer. FX Productions is the studio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
