Todd Meadows<\/strong>\u2019 mother is speaking out after his death.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Deadliest Catch<\/em> star and captain of the Aleutian Lady<\/strong> revealed Todd, a 25-year-old deckhand on the ship, tragically died while filming the show on February 25. The Coast Guard<\/strong> opened an investigation and revealed to TMZ<\/em> on Tuesday that Todd fell overboard for 10 minutes while out at sea before being rescued. Sadly, when he was recovered by the crew, he was unresponsive. And despite resuscitation attempts, Todd passed away.<\/p>\n

An incredibly sad accident, exacerbated by the fact that Todd leaves behind two young children and a devastated family. And now, his mother is making it clear she NEVER wants the footage of his death to see the light of day.<\/p>\n

As was reported, Deadliest Catch<\/em> cameras were rolling in Todd\u2019s final moments. It\u2019s not clear if they caught the actual moment he went overboard, but either way, Angela Meadows wants the footage to stay off air.\u00a0 On Wednesday, she told TMZ<\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t want to see any footage from the accident and do not want Discovery<\/strong> to air any of that footage or make money off of our son\u2019s death. We hope they only air good things of Todd on that boat.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s more than understandable\u2026 If the network were to try and profit off something so tragic\u2026 That\u2019d just be soulless.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, Angela asked for footage of Todd crabbing so the family can enjoy seeing happ<\/a>y moments of their lost loved one and to \u201chave the videos for memories.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for who Todd\u2019s family blames for the tragedy,\u00a0 Angela told the outlet:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t want to put the blame on anyone, but someone has to take responsibility. We will have justice for Todd.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Furthermore, she and Todd\u2019s father Luke \u201cwant answers\u201d on how the production crew handled the situation.<\/p>\n
