\n\tCorey Parker, an actor on Will & Grace<\/em>, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning<\/em> and Love Boat: The Next Wave<\/em>, has died. He was 60. <\/p>\n

\n\tParker died Thursday in Memphis, Tennessee, following a cancer battle, his family told TMZ<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe son of actress Rocky Parker, he began acting at the age of four and continued throughout his adolescence. His first listed credit stems from a 1983 episode of As the World Turns<\/em>, following by his first film app<\/a>earance in 1984\u2019s Scream for Help<\/em>. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn 1985, Parker starred in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning<\/em>, the fifth movie in the horror-slasher franchise. His additional film credits include 9 1\/2 Weeks<\/em>, Biloxi Blues<\/em> and The Rainmaker<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the small screen, he appeared in six episodes of Thirtysomething<\/em>; six episodes of Eddie Dodd<\/em> in 1991; starred in the American sitcom Flying Blind<\/em> as Neil Barash; Blue Skies<\/em> (1994); the 1998 Love Boat<\/em> revival The Next Wave<\/em>; five 2000 episodes of Will & Grace<\/em>; and one episode of Nashville<\/em> in 2014. <\/p>\n

\n\tParker was also an established acting coach, beginning<\/a> that part of his career in 2000. He went on to teach at Duke University, Rhodes College and the University of Memphis, and lent those talents to the 2022 Marvel series<\/a> Ms. Marvel<\/em>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
