The anime\u2019s X\/Twitter<\/a> account said that the show will be a global simulcast.<\/span><\/p>\n

An April 6 broadcast premiere date was announced last month, along with a main trailer reveal and more. The fantasy show, which was meant to begin airing last year, was previously picked up by Crunchyroll for exclusive streaming outside Asia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Witch Hat Atelier <\/em>is an adaptation of the manga by Kamome Shirahama<\/strong>, which features a drawing-based magic system. Kodansha USA describes the synopsis of the manga as such:<\/span><\/p>\n

In a world where everyone takes wonders like magic spells and dragons for granted, Coco is a girl with a simple dream: she wants to be a witch. But everybody knows magicians are born, not made, and Coco was not born with a gift for magic. Resigned to her un-magical life, Coco is about to give up on her dream to become a witch \u2026 until the day she meets Qifrey, a mysterious, travel<\/a>ing magician. After secretly seeing Qifrey perform magic in a way she\u2019s never seen before, Coco soon learns what everybody \u201cknows\u201d might not be the truth, and discovers that her magical dream may not be as far away as it may seem \u2026<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Witch Hat Atelier<\/i>\u00a0manga began in 2016 in Monthly Morning Two and has 15 volumes as of November 2025. It was named Best Manga at the\u00a037th Harvey Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n

A spin-off manga by\u00a0Hiromi Sato\u00a0<\/strong>titled\u00a0Tongari Boshi no Kitchen<\/i>\u00a0debuted in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n
