X then became part of Musk\u2019s xAI, which itself has become part of SpaceX.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musk cut the company\u2019s workforce dramatically and spurred new controversies by incorporating xAI\u2019s chatbot Grok, which dubbed itself \u201cMechaHitler\u201d and was used to create widespread sexual deepfakes, including of real women and children.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While X retains a strong hold on some user groups, including swaths of the tech industry, it also faces competition from services like Bluesky and Meta\u2019s Threads. One report suggests that Threads recently overtook X in daily mobile users. (All of these primarily text-based services are dwarfed by <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s like Instagram and TikTok.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for Dorsey\u2019s original tweet, the Twitter co-founder later sold it as an NFT for $2.9 million. But its value has reportedly <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/the-nft-of-jack-dorseys-first-tweet-originally-purchased-for-2-9m-is-worth-less-than-4-in-todays-market\/\">plummeted<\/a>, with the buyer unable to resell it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
