Denise Richards<\/strong> is a new woman!<\/p>\n

Did the Wild Things<\/em> actress just switch places with her \u201890s self? Because it sure looks like it! On Saturday, Denise took to Instagram<\/strong> to share a collaborative post with plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei<\/strong> revealing shocking before-and-after pics of her secret facelift! Dr. Talei called the reality star \u201cone of the most lovely and beautiful people to ever walk this earth\u201d and thanked her for trusting him with the \u201crestoration and more importantly, the preservation of her character and beauty.\u201d See her new youthful glow from an app<\/a>earance at the 53rd Saturn Awards<\/strong> earlier this month (below):<\/p>\n

On Instagram, Dr. Talei revealed the Starship Troopers<\/em> actress had several procedures done in the process, including an upper blepharoplasty, a temporal brow lift, a lip lift to bring the outer corners of her mouth up, fat grafting, and more. See the before-and-after pics HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Allure<\/em> published on Friday, Denise opened up more about the incredible transformation, which she underwent in June 2025:<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to put things back up, where they were before.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The actress, who\u2019s been a cultural icon since she burst onto the scene in the \u201890s, admitted she \u201cwas terrified\u201d as this was the first time she had cosmetic surgery done on her face. But she\u2019s not trying to hide it:<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing in the public eye since my 20s, people know what I look like \u2014 a facelift is not something that I could hide.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Reflecting on her before and after, the 55-year-old said:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is night and day. It\u2019s shocking, actually.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She hinted there were other celebs who \u201cwere more comfortable telling me about theirs,\u201d but didn\u2019t want to \u201cname names.\u201d But The World Is Not Enough<\/em> actress wanted to be clear that for her, \u201cit\u2019s not just serums and working out and lasers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to undergoing the surgery, Denise had thought she\u2019d never go for a full facelift:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m one who says \u2018never say never,\u2019 but I always said I would never get a facelift, because that\u2019s my face. This is how I make my money. I\u2019ve been in this business a long time. People know what I look like. I\u2019ve never done anything aesthetically to my face. This is my nose. I\u2019ve done a little Botox. I\u2019ve done very little filler \u2014 it made me look like I was heavy; it just did not work for my face. I\u2019ve never touched anything [on my face] like that. If things go a little sideways when you do some other part of your body, you could cover it. So I was always scared of a facelift, but I did want to do my neck \u2014 my late mom would always say that she had a turkey neck. I think it\u2019s genetic. I had tried that [lifting] tape \u2014 a makeup artist showed it to me \u2014 and I\u2019m like, \u2018Well, if that\u2019s where I want it to go, why not just put it back there?\u2019 It was something that I\u2019d been thinking about for two years, going back and forth, and the last six months [before my surgery], I was like, \u2018I have to do this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Denise shared her oldest daughters, including 22-year-old Sami Sheen<\/strong> and 20-year-old Lola Sheen<\/strong>, were \u201cnot happy\u201d about the procedure:<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cMy oldest daughters were not happy that I was doing it. But I think now they understand, and they see that I still look like me. I think they were just worried, in general<\/a>, of [me] having surgery. They were telling me I didn\u2019t need it. I was too young. I told them that this is something that I want to do, and you may not agree with my decision, but I just want your support. I understand that you feel the way you do, but please know that this is something that I want to do for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Reflecting on Sami\u2019s history with plastic surgery, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want [my daughter] Sami to get a nose job about two years ago. So when she said she didn\u2019t want me to get a facelift, she said, \u2018Mom, you did not want me to get a nose job.\u2019 I said, \u2018Yeah, but you were 20 years old and that\u2019s your nose. That could change the way you look. For me, he\u2019s just putting things back where they were. I\u2019m not trying to change the way I look; I\u2019m just trying to put things back. There\u2019s a little difference, in my opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cBut I understand her feelings. She said she wished she had my nose, but she got her dad\u2019s nose. I told her, \u2018Your dad has a beautiful nose, and it looks beautiful on you.\u2019 The pressure of having to look a certain way, that\u2019s hard \u2014 but how do I defend all of it, you know? I didn\u2019t grow up with a mother that was in entertainment. I didn\u2019t see her on covers of magazines. My daughters would come to photo shoots with me. They\u2019ve seen me being all dolled up. That was my job. It\u2019s hard for me to say \u2018ignore the pressure,\u2019 because I am guilty of being in a business where I talk about beauty, and show before-and-afters. So it\u2019s a fine line.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Prior to undergoing the facelift, Denise also dissolved the filler in her cheeks.<\/p>\n
