\n\tGoalhanger, Gary Lineker\u2019s media<\/a> and podcast production behemoth, is launching a flagship initiative in collaboration with the U.K.\u2019s top content creators.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Accelerator<\/a> will support digital creators across entertainment, sport, politics, science<\/a>, tech, and finance. \u201cDesigned as a high-impact, three-month creative business incubator, it provides investment, training and mentorship and access to Goalhanger\u2019s senior editorial, creative and commercial leadership \u2014 alongside established on-air talent,\u201d the company tells The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tParticipants will be chosen by a selection committee comprising senior Goalhanger leaders alongside experienced execs from across the global media and cultural industries. The external panel brings expertise spanning commissioning, talent development, platform strategy, and commercial growth, with backgrounds across Spotify, Sony Music, YouTube, Web Summit, WME and beyond. Members of this committee include Alex Bewley, Alex Adey, Alex Mahon, Damaris Rex Taylor, Julia Errens and Conor Galvin.<\/p>\n

\n\tEach creator will receive up to \u00a310,000 ($13,400) in content investment to elevate production standards and experiment with short-form storytelling across their social platforms.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut the program goes beyond funding. In a media landscape where most digital creators are left to scale alone, The Accelerator represents a deliberate choice: to back emerging talent properly. With structure. With investment. With access,\u201d the company continued. The initiative also allows Goalhanger to create a clear pathway into long-form IP development. <\/p>\n

\n\tFormer soccer star Lineker said: \u201cEveryone\u2019s producing more and publishing faster \u2014 content that\u2019s brief, bright, and quickly forgotten. It\u2019s harder than ever to cut through. There\u2019s an extraordinary generation of digital talent creating loyal communities and they deserve meaningful backing, not just exposure. This program gives them time, expertise and a real pathway to think bigger and build something enduring.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tApplicants<\/a> should already be active on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and\/or Facebook, with a strong and engaged audience. U.K.-based and eligible to work, they should be ready to \u201cscale their creativity into something more ambitious.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s been a record-breaking year for Goalhanger. In 2025 alone, the company generated more than 750 million full-episode views and streams across its 15-show network, including on major hits The Rest Is Politics<\/em>, The Rest Is Football<\/em>, The Rest Is History<\/em>, and The Rest Is Entertainment<\/em>. Its membership business has grown to more than 250,000 paying members.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
