But Ranma faces a unique problem\u2026 Ever since he fell into the cursed springs of Jusenkyo while training in China, his body has acquired the peculiar trait of transforming into a girl when doused with cold water and reverting to a boy with hot water.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><em>Ranma 1\/2 <\/em>adapts the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/anime-manga\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"6\" title=\"Anime || Manga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manga<\/a> by <b>Rumiko Takahashi<\/b>, whose <em>Urusei Yatsura<\/em>,<em>\u00a0Inuyasha<\/em>, <em>Rin-ne<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Maison Ikkoku<\/em>, and <em>Mao<\/em> manga have inspired anime adaptations as well (<em>Urusei<\/em> <em>Yatsura<\/em>, like<em> Ranma 1\/2<\/em>, also received a modern remake). The source material started serialization in the 36th 1987 issue of Shogakukan\u2019s Weekly Shonen Sunday and ended in the magazine\u2019s 12th 1996 issue. Viz <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> publishes physical volumes of the manga in English.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The <em>Ranma 1\/2 <\/em>manga previously inspired an 18-episode anime that began airing in 1989. This was followed by<i>\u00a0Ranma \u00bd: Netto-hen<\/i>, which ran from 1989 to 1992 with 143 episodes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The previous anime were produced by\u00a0<b>Studio Deen<\/b>\u00a0and had\u00a0<b>Atsuko Nakajima<\/b>\u00a0(<i>Komi Can\u2019t Communicate<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Haven\u2019t You Heard?
