Toei Animation has announced<\/a> the development of a game<\/a> based on the 2014 anime<\/a> science<\/a>-fiction film Expelled from Paradise<\/em>. It will launch this winter in Japan. The official title, genre, supported platforms, and developer will be announced at a later date. <\/p>\n

Set in the world of Expelled from Paradise<\/em>, the game will feature a completely original story. Its release is being coordinated with the sequel film Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart<\/em><\/a>, which is set to premiere on November 13.<\/p>\n

The story takes place in the future when humanity\u2019s new paradise, the cyber universe \u201cDEVA\u2019s\u201d mainframe is hacked by a mysterious hacker from Earth. DEVA\u2019s high officials dispatch Angela Balzac, a DEVA system security officer, down to the Earth\u2019s surface to investigate the situations surrounding this mysterious hacker.<\/p>\n

What are the hacker\u2019s motives? Angela descends on to the devastated surface riding her exoskeletal powered suit Arhan.<\/p>\n

Urobuchi\u2019s amazing future world vision is brought to life by Mizushima and his talented creative staff through stunning visuals. The unique characters depicted in state-of-the-art 3DCG are voiced by a group of brilliant cast members.<\/p>\n
