She brought a galvanizing class politics to the club space on 2018&#8217;s funny and ferocious <i>Working Class Woman<\/i> and last year, she delivered a speaker-ready send up of the attention economy on <i>City Of Clowns<\/i>, one of The FADER&#8217;s best albums of 2025.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            In addition to being a musical artist, Davidson is a poet (with a book of original poetry, <i><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVTueBqgMSP\/?img_index=1\">Traveler&#8217;s Faith<\/a><\/i>, on the way). Fittingly, Marie Davidson&#8217;s FADER Mix feels like a found poem, with disparate clips of sonic material attached together, creating new meaning from striking contrast. On it, dramatic operatics descend into &#8220;Timeless&#8221; by The Weeknd and Playboi Carti. And Lana Del Rey&#8217;s &#8220;White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter&#8221; melts into a screecher by Scottish brutalist KAVARI before the high concept art trap of Chino Amobi enters the space. People follow trends to stay in fashion, or to feel included in movements. I don\u2019t really relate to that, I just like searching and doing my own thing.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <b>How would you describe your FADER mix?<\/b><br \/>It\u2019s a very emotional mix.
