Thick As Thieves<\/em>, the Megabit-published multiplayer stealth game<\/a> from Warren Spector first announced in December 2024, is now a single-player and two-player cooperative play-focused game, developer OtherSide Entertainment said in an update<\/a>. <\/p>\n

After nearly a year-and-a-half of silence, a new gameplay trailer will debut at Trip<\/a>le-i Initiative on April 9.<\/p>\n

Fellow Thieves,<\/p>\n

We\u2019re just under two weeks away from the Triple-I Initiative on [April 9]! At the show, we\u2019ll be lifting the veil on Thick as Thieves<\/em>\u2018 brand-new gameplay trailer alongside some other well-guarded secrets. But before all that, we want to share an update.<\/p>\n

When we first revealed Thick as Thieves<\/em> we intended to focus on [player-versus-player-versus-environment] gameplay. However, as development progressed and the world of Kilcairn has come to life, we found that we were having more fun with solo and [cooperative] play.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

So, we\u2019ve taken a decision we feel is right for the game: Thick as Thieves<\/em> is now focused on two-player [cooperative play] and single-player.<\/p>\n

This sharpened focus has allowed us to double down on what makes Thick as Thieves<\/em> truly special\u2014dynamic stealth gameplay. We\u2019re already seeing how this has strengthened the moment-to-moment action, whether you\u2019re playing solo or with a partner in [cooperative play]. We\u2019ve had some fantastic moments while testing the game. Now we\u2019re putting all our energy into making things even better as we build up to launch.<\/p>\n
