The anime\u2019s first season aired in 2021, not long after the KADOKAWA-published, <strong>Umibouzu<\/strong>-illustrated light novel <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> began publication in 2019.\u00a0Yen Press describes the light novels\u2019 synopsis as such:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><em>Kimitsuka Kimihiko was the assistant to a beautiful detective named Siesta \u2014 until Siesta died, anyway.
