A third season of the How Not to Summon a Demon Lord<\/em> TV anime<\/a> has been announced, accompanied by a visual from the light novels\u2019 illustrator Takahiro Tsurusaki<\/strong>. The new season will have the subtitle ULT<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The returning cast includes Masaaki Mizunaka<\/strong> as Diablo, Yu Serizawa<\/strong> as Shera, and Azumi Waki<\/strong> as Rem.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first two seasons of the anime aired in 2018 and 2021. The original How Not to Summon a Demon Lord\u00a0<\/em>(Isekai Mao to Shokan Shojo no Dorei Majutsu<\/em>) light novel series<\/a> by Yukiya Murasaki<\/strong> began in 2014 and has 14 volumes as of 2021. J-Novel Club describes the light novels\u2019 synopsis as such:<\/span><\/p>\n

In the MMORPG Cross Reverie, Takuma Sakamoto is so powerful that he is lauded as the \u201cDemon Lord\u201d by other players. One day, he is summoned to a world outside his own\u2013 but with the same app<\/a>earance he had in the game<\/a>! There, he meets two girls who both proclaim themselves to be his Summoner. They perform an Enslavement Ritual to turn him into their Summon\u2026 but that\u2019s when Takuma\u2019s passive ability > activates! Instead, it is the girls who become enslaved! Though Takuma may be the strongest Sorcerer there is, he has no idea how to talk with other people. It is here he makes his choice: to act based on his persona from the game! \u201cAmazing? But of course\u2026 I am Diablo, the being known and feared as the Demon Lord!\u201d So begins a tale of adventure with an earth-shakingly powerful Demon Lord (or at least someone who acts like one) taking on another world!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The How Not to Summon a Demon Lord\u00a0<\/em>light novels are published under the Kodansha Lanovel Bunko label\/imprint. There is a manga drawn by Naoto Fukuda<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
