on the way. The singer will have five new tracks as part of Boots Riley&#8217;s  upcoming film, <i>I Love Boosters<\/i>, out in theaters in May 22. In addition to starring in the film, Palmer recorded a five-song EP, <i>Keke Palmer-I Love Boosters Original Motion Picture Soundtrack<\/i>, that will be released on May 1 by Lakeshore Records. Ahead of that, she&#8217;s dropping the first single from the EP, &#8220;2-D,&#8221; today, at midnight.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\n            Co-written with Alina Kanin, Boots Riley&#8217;s daughter, and produced by Riley himself, &#8220;2-D&#8221; plays a major role in the film, and is one of the catchiest tunes from the soundtrack. Palmer previously performed songs from the film during its SXSW premiere.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            In addition to collaborating with Kanin on &#8220;2-D,&#8221; Palmer worked with the songwriter for all of the songs on the forthcoming project.
