Moore used one of his victim\u2019s credentials to then access the U.S. Supreme Court\u2019s electronic document filing system, AmeriCorps, and the Department of Veteran Affairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was facing a year in prison and a fine of $100,000\u00a0in damages. Prosecutors later asked for only probation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI made a mistake,\u201d Moore said during the sentencing hearing on Friday, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/regulation\/court-battles\/5836288-tennessee-man-hacks-supreme-court\/\">according to The Hill<\/a>. \u201cI am truly sorry.
