The shock this put us through!! Goodness!!!<\/p>\n

If you opened X (Twitter<\/a>)<\/strong> anytime in the last several hours, you likely saw a post from the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department<\/strong> that stopped you in your tracks \u2014 only to break your heart all over again!<\/p>\n

Late on Thursday, the police department behind the search for Nancy Guthrie<\/strong> shared a statement that simply said:<\/p>\n

\u201cUpdate: Nancy has been located\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A LOT of people assumed they were talking about Nancy Guthrie \u2014 the most famous missing Nancy right now!<\/p>\n

A photo of a missing person\u2019s bulletin was attached with the word \u201clocated\u201d written in large red lettering across an image of an elderly woman with brown hair \u2014 though the words largely blocked her face, making it hard to see her features. So, yeah, if you looked quickly, you\u2019d think they were talking about Nancy Guthrie!<\/p>\n

Upon closer inspection, the Nancy was listed as \u201cNancy Radakovich<\/strong>\u201d \u2014 not Savannah Guthrie<\/strong>\u2018s dear mother. But you really had to go searching for that! And that has pissed off the internet!<\/p>\n

Reacting to the \u201ctone deaf\u201d post, outraged users blasted the department, writing:<\/p>\n
