REMOW\u2019s It\u2019s Anime<\/a> FAST channel will be adding the <\/span>Monster Eater<\/span><\/i> \u201clight anime\u201d series<\/a> to its streaming lineup on Samsung TV Plus. The series began airing in Japan on April 2, 2026.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The series will make its North American streaming debut outside of Japan on Samsung TV Plus\u2019 channel #3202. The first three episodes will debut on April 17, 2026 at 10:00 PM EST, with the broadcast schedule subject to change.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hikaru Sato<\/b> is directing the <\/span>light anime adaptation<\/span>, with <\/span>Kazuya Takahashi<\/b> in charge of the production supervision and <\/span>nanogram.inc<\/b> providing production assistance. <\/span>IMAGICA Infos <\/b>and <\/span>Imageworks Studio<\/b> are the animation production companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>main voice cast<\/span> stars<\/span> Makoto Furukawa<\/b> as Rudd and <\/span>Yuki Nakashima <\/b>as Elyssia.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The fantasy light novel series is written by <\/span>Renkino <\/b>and illustrated by <\/span>Kawaku<\/b>. It was published by Earth Star Entertainment from August 18, 2023 to January 17, 2024 and released two total volumes in Japan. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on March 31, 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

LINE Manga launched a webtoon adaptation on June 29, 2024, which is drawn by<\/span> Kei Ichimatsu <\/b>and <\/span>Tanako Tanao<\/b>. Naver\u2019s WEBTOON service releases the <\/span>LINE Manga webtoon<\/span><\/a> in English digitally.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A separate <\/span>manga adaptation<\/span><\/a> by <\/span>TATE <\/b>was launched on Square Enix\u2019s Manga UP! service on August 21, 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rudd is an E-rank adventurer. The only skill he possesses, \u2018 Status Immunity \u2018 is a subtle ability that is only useful for gathering herbs in The Noxious Labyrinth. He has almost no combat ability and is even mocked by the surrounding adventurers as a \u2018Grubby Forager.\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Rudd challenges a new labyrinth to break through the current situation, but is betrayed by his companions and gets stranded. When a betrayal leaves him for dead without any supplies or help, he commits a taboo and consumes the flesh of monsters\u2026<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
