Publisher KRAFTON and developer James Bendon have released a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition<\/em> of Dinkum<\/em> via Nintendo eShop<\/a> alongside the release of the \u201cAnimal Tracks\u201d update for both Switch and Switch 2, the companies. The Switch 2 version is available as a free upgrade from the Switch version. <\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up playing Nintendo game<\/a>s, so bringing a game I created to a Nintendo platform is incredibly meaningful to me,\u201d said Dinkum<\/em> creator James Bendon in a press release. \u201cThe creativity of the Dinkum<\/em> community continues to inspire me, and I\u2019m excited to keep growing this world with players.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the PC (Steam<\/a>) version, which is celebrating the first anniversary since its full release, KRAFTON has released \u201cThe Great Bite\u201d update, which adds a new destination to explore. Here is an overview of the update, via KRAFTON:<\/p>\n

Alongside its Nintendo Switch 2 debut, Dinkum<\/em> is also celebrating its first anniversary on Steam with \u201cThe Great Bite,\u201d a major content update featuring a brand-new destination to explore. The island introduces climbable cliffs, new plant life, and varied terrain, opening up new ways to explore the world of Dinkum. Players can also restore scattered lighthouses to reveal nearby treasure on the map.<\/p>\n

The update also adds new decorative items, collectibles, and vehicles, along with several quality-of-life and customization features. A new Servo feature allows players to summon vehicles from anywhere, while new facial accessories and the Swag Pack customization system offer even more ways to personalize characters.<\/p>\n

To mark the game\u2019s first anniversary on Steam, Dinkum<\/em> will also host a limited-time in-game event. Through May 7, Steam players who sell fish to John\u2019s Goods will receive commemorative tickets that can be exchanged for exclusive items.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
