Spiders, the Nacon-owned, Paris-based studio behind GreedFall: The Dying World<\/em>, Steelrising<\/em>, the original GreedFall<\/em>, and more, will close after 18 years in operation, the developer announced<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The planned download<\/a>able content for GreedFall: The Dying World<\/em> will still release via publisher Nacon, but after that, as Spiders puts it, \u201cwell, that\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

First off, we apologize for the silence over the past month\u2014it\u2019s been a while. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re going to cut straight to the chase so you\u2019re not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated. <\/p>\n

What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We\u2019ll cease our functions immedia<\/a>tely. The planned [downloadable content] will release via Nacon, and then\u2014well, that\u2019s it. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re sorry that it\u2019s come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years. <\/p>\n
