The efforts of the SEC and CFTC chairmen indicate that the crypto industry will not suffer without the CLARITY Act, according to crypto executive Chris Perkins.<\/p>\n

The US crypto industry\u2019s momentum won\u2019t be derailed in the long term even if the much-anticipated CLARITY Act, aimed at bringing more regulatory clarity to the crypto industry, doesn\u2019t make it through Congress, according to 250 Digital Asset Management CEO Chris Perkins.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf not, we\u2019re going to be just fine,\u201d Perkins said<\/span><\/a> on Cointelegraph\u2019s Chain Reaction podcast on Friday, emphasizing that the two major financial regulators are already building workable frameworks.<\/p>\n

Perkins pointed to ongoing efforts by US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Paul Atkins and Commodities and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chair Michael Selig, following the agencies\u2019 joint interpretation released in March on how federal securities laws app<\/a>ly to crypto assets.<\/p>\n
