<\/p>\n<p>\n            On June 19, the late PC Music pioneer and the globally renowned New Orleans Bounce artist will be releasing a joint 3-song EP. The collaboration, while never officially released, has floated <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Yufjn_tHyps\">around the internet<\/a>, like so much of SOPHIE&#8217;s famously prolific output.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Since SOPHIE&#8217;s tragic passing in 2021, fans and the music community writ large have continued to contend with the ongoing influence of her work. SOPHIE&#8217;s bubbly, ferocious, and deeply moving production has shaped the sound of modern pop and electronic music. In 2024, SOPHIE&#8217;s collaborators and brother worked together to release a self-titled album, reported to be largely finished at the time of her death.\n          <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<style>\n<\/style>\n<div id=\"content_block-280202\" class=\"content_block paragraph text triple_gutter_right triple_gutter_left center_align\">\n<div class=\"content_inner_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraph_wrapper center_align\">\n<p>\n            The official release of the joint project marks an important step for both artists&#8217; legacy, who are both integral to the history and sound of global dance music.\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            \u201cRecording with SOPHIE is something I hold even closer to my heart now, especially after her passing,\u201d says Freedia via a press release. \u201cShe was an artist who showed the world that living boldly is your greatest power. With this EP, I want to show the world how loved she was and still is!\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            \u201cThis collaboration was exciting to Sophie right from the start,\u201d says SOPHIE\u2019s family in a statement. \u201cFreedia\u2019s energy and vocal power, a perfect match for her production. Their connection gave us these songs, all of them Sophie loved to play out, and we can\u2019t wait to hear them in the club again.\u201d\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            Likewise, we can&#8217;t wait to hear these songs.
