This latest round was led by Coatue, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-05-07\/kalshi-secures-22-billion-valuation-in-coatue-led-round\">with participation from<\/a> Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, and Paradigm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The startup <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-05-07\/kalshi-secures-22-billion-valuation-in-coatue-led-round\">told Bloomberg<\/a> that its annualized revenue exceeds $1.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kalshi, alongside rival Polymarket, ushered in the boom in prediction markets where consumers place bets on everything, from what stars are wearing at the Met Gala, to which sports team will win the next <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a blog post, Kalshi said that institutional trading on the platform has increased 800% in the past six months and that it hosts 90% of prediction market activity in the U.S. (Polymarket <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2026\/04\/28\/polymarket-seeks-cftc-approval-to-reopen-main-exchange-to-u-s-traders\">has been working to unroll remaining restrictions<\/a> on its U.S. operations from a ban imposed in 2022.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
